Full bio: Musician and DJ Owen Skorcz, known behind the decks as “totto”, is a multifaceted bass music artist from Dallas Texas. As a teenager when Skorcz first heard a Skrillex song during a laser tag match, he immediately knew, that was the type of thing he wanted to create. After downloading Ableton around the age of ~14 Skorcz spent virtually every second he could trying to learn how everything worked in hopes of creating a sound to call his own.
After many years of exploring production, the “totto” project was born. Initially, the project started as a dubstep alias however Skorcz felt that this was not a true expression of himself nor a truly unique sound. The idea of having to do one thing simply felt uncreative to him. Skorcz then began to dig through the trenches of electronic music trying to gather and learn from every sound available. Through this exploration of sound and self, the true form of totto was born. Sounds of Neuro, Trap, Dubstep, Bass, and Techno, were all blended to together form the current sound that is totto.
With virtually no electronic subgenre being off-limits, there is no denying that totto’s sets and releases feature a wide-ranged arsenal of club-ready weapons woven between atmospheric soundscapes and impactful melodies.
